Ana de Medeiros, painter and sculptor develops in her current paintings a game between the second and third dimension. By using different materials like structure paste or sometimes partially torn double coated canvases a second haptic layer emerges besides the sheer optical experience.

Born 1950 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Grown up in Portugal, in the cities of Lisbon und Faro.

Since 1970 french citizenship and living in germany.
Since 1985 freelance painter and sculptress.
Since 1995 member of the professional association of fine arts (BBK).



Exhibitions in Munich, Stuttgart, Sindelfingen, Aichach , Augsburg, Nürnberg, Mallorca and Zschopau

Winner 2nd price 2004 of the Art Domain Gallery annual art competition.
